Rheumatoid arthritis is a type of arthritis where your own immune system attacks your own healthy tissue lining the joints, leading to pain, stiffness and swelling of the joints. Some patients may complain of fever as well and some may suffer from deformities of joints.
The severity of the disease can vary from mild to moderate to severe.
Homeopathic treatment helps to restore the disharmony of the immune system.
Homeopathic treatment has good scope in treating and managing the case, depending upon the severity, and in some cases it can cure the patient from the root if one starts the treatment at the earliest stage of the disease.
I had an opportunity to help a few patients suffering with rheumatoid arthritis and three of them were in different stages of the disease.
For e.g. 1) One patient in her early 30s was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, post pregnancy, and she was advised to start all the allopathic medicine which are generally given (including steroids, methotrexate and Hydrocychlroquine) but patient decide not to take allopathic medicines and just wanted to take Homeopathic treatment
She was at very beginning stage of the disease and her symptoms were milder, It’s almost been a year of Homeopathic treatment, and she is doing very well, without any use of allopathic medicines and her all the rheumatic parameters came within normal limit (So in this case homeopathic treatment helped her heal completely)
2) Another patient in her 40s, was already taking all the allopathic medicine since last 3 years, her health was stable with allopathic medicines, but as soon as she used to reduce the doses of medicine she used to experience the relapse of complaints with same severity, so in horded to avoid this relapse she turned out towards homeopathic treatment.
After understanding and analyzing her case. She started on one particular remedy and it’s been almost 1.5 years of treatment, her uses of allopathic medicine has reduced to 50% without any relapse of the symptoms, and she is in much better physical & mental health.
(In this case, homeopathic treatment help to avoid the relapse of the disease and helps to reduce the doses of allopathic medicines)
3) Another patient, she was in her 60s & she was suffering since last 20 years, her joint were already deformed, the disease was progressing slowly every year and every time she went to visit conventional doctor, she was given higher doses of medicine, with which she was not comfortable, she didn’t want to take more doses every now & then.
After studying her case in detail, she was given a particular homeopathic remedy. Now it’s almost been 2 years.
She is taking homeopathic medicines along with allopathic medicines and what changed in her case was, the progress of disease slowed down, in entire 2 years, her allopathic medicines were increases by only 10% in respect to earlier time which would be 40%, after adding Homeopathic treatment, her pains and stiffness were better, her quality of life improved and mentally also she started to feel calmer and happier.
(In this case homeopathy helped to slow down the progress of the disease, helped to improve the quality of life, with minimal increase in the doses of allopathic medicines).
